We mentioned in the previous article the importance of learning Arabic as the language of the Qur’an and many students of knowledge seek to memorize the Holy Qur’an, as well as many parents keen for their children to keep the Qur’an; But they find it a little difficult. Here are five reasons to help you memorize the Holy Qur’an.

1. Intention:

make your intention sincere to your God before beginning to memorize because the intention is located in the heart, and the heart is in the sight of the God. If God looks into your heart and finds that you mean Him alone and no one else, that is a stronger reason for Him to help you and make you a successful person. One of the reasons for the sincerity of your intention is to say to yourself that I memorize the Qur’an to satisfy  my God and to increase my favors, and let the Qur’an be my patron on the Day of Doomsday, and to understand and study the Qur’an, and to be an imam of my family in my prayers.

2. Prayers and Lacks:

Pray for God so much and lack Him, get out of your strength  and power to the strength and the power of the God , and  don’t get cocky of yourself or of the power of your memorization or your mettle, only God can facilitate the order of memorization or otherwise, and seek the times of His answer to the prayer; like the time between the adhan and Iqama, at the fasting breakfast, at the time of the magic, at the  al-sijood, and let your prayer be urgent.

3. Set aside time:

Make to yourself a sacred time of memorization, do not occupy yourself with any other work whatever, and make it after dawn prayers. The mind at this time is empty and ready to learn and memorize. make the place where you sit quiet away from the hustle and bustle.

4. Start with a little bit:

This is a basic rule that the Prophet of God’s peace and blessings spoke of when he said: “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few”.  Start with a little and keep this little and do not rush, the haste is a waste of effort.

5. Continue with Sheikh:

follow up with a perfect sheikh, with whom you can memorize, he will help you reach your goal. Read to him the part you will memorize first and then he corrects the Qur’an to you, then go back to him to read what you have memorize second. And continue like this until the Qur’an is completely memorize by God Almighty.
